Officers reported the wreck at around 10 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened on November 10 when a GMC Sierra 2500 and a Toyota Camry Hybrid collided. The two cars crashed on Placerville Drive near the Highway 50 overpass.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the\u00a0driver of the Toyota\u00a0who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.<\/p>\n<p>Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Marshall Hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, officials determined that the motorist in the GMC was under the influence when he hit the victim.
