This video discusses the history of Shingle Springs from its start as a stop on the Sacramento to Placerville wagon road, its history as a train depot, and how it has remained a major stop on US 50 from Sacramento to Placerville and further to Lake Tahoe.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GbipO-9diV4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>One such traveler, David B.
