This includes, but is not limited to revving, burnouts, drifting, littering, racing, etc.<\/p>\n<p>SLTPD Sgt. Doug Sentell said the residents didn&#8217;t appreciate their activities in 2020 and he passed on concerns to Lake 2o.<\/p>\n<p>Sentell told them there will be plenty of law enforcement ready for the <a href=\"https:\/\/southtahoenow.com\/story\/09\/24\/2022\/lake-2o-returning-south-lake-tahoe-time-controls-place\">unconventional car show<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you are seen or heard doing any of the following, you will promptly be asked to leave and your information will be given to authorities. If you notice anyone participating in such behavior, we encourage you all to please do the same.<\/p>\n<p>Additional PD enforcement will be present. Let&#8217;s all do our part by holding each other accountable. If not for your safety, then for the sake of future automotive gatherings<\/p>\n<p>Lake2o is NOT the time and Lake Tahoe is NOT the place for such behavior.<\/p>\n<p>Please show your upmost respect to the area &amp; community alike, AT ALL TIMES. As the Lake2O event was recently announced to take place on October 19-23, residents and business owners understandably have shared concerns that promoters and participants of this event in 2020 failed to respect our community. While the promoters claim they are doing everything they can to ensure 2020 is not repeated, I want to make the City\u2019s position very clear. The City of South Lake Tahoe does not condone, support, or authorize the Lake2O event within our jurisdiction. The City of South Lake Tahoe is not a good fit for or the appropriate venue for this type of event.
