(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) Sept 20, 2022 \u2014 “If You See Something, Say Something\u00ae” is a national campaign that raises public awareness of the signs of terrorism and terrorism-related crime, and how to report suspicious activity to state and local law enforcement.<\/p>\n
Year-round, the \u201cIf You See Something, Say Something\u00ae\u201d campaign works to empower and educate the public on the importance of recognizing the signs of terrorism-related suspicious activity and how to report it to law enforcement. However, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has designated September 25 as \u201cIf You See Something, Say Something\u00ae\u201d Awareness Day, also known as #SeeSayDay. On this day, DHS and its campaign partners across the country come together to remind the public to be aware of suspicious activity and how to report it to law enforcement.<\/p>\n
How to Participate<\/strong>
\n\u201cIf You See Something, Say Something\u00ae\u201d is more than just a slogan; it is the mindset that we all play a role in the safety of our communities. This #SeeSayDay, we encourage you to build awareness in your workplace and community about identifying and reporting terrorism-related suspicious activity. We ask that you lend your voice to help raise awareness by encouraging others to save the Suspicious Activity Reporting phone number for their location in their phone.<\/p>\n
