Flock was the brainchild of Southern California chef Jordan Davis.<\/p>\n<p>He was previously the chef of El Dorado Hills Selland\u2019s Market-Cafe, and Fish Republic and Herringbone in San Diego.<\/p>\n<p>The pizzeria opened on Feb. 4 at 185 Placerville Rd., Suite 150, with menu options made from cold-fermented and organic pizza dough, and topping choices of Asian pear, prosciutto, arugula and Parmesan cream.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant did not release a reason as to why it is closing permanently. On Facebook, a customer inquired about the closure on a Folsom community page. Tony Bendana, one of the partners of Flock, replied: \u201cIt was unfortunate that Flock closed as it did.
