(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) Sept 20, 2022 \u2014 El Dorado County, the State and non-governmental organizations will provide a one-stop shop with critical services for residents who have been impacted by the Mosquito Fire. Citizens can replace lost or destroyed vital documents (ID, financial information, etc.) and get connected with support services to assist in their recovery.<\/p>\n

RESOURCE\/AGENCY SERVICES PROVIDED:<\/p>\n
\n
Recorder \u2013 Clerk<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Replacement of certified copies of vital records (Birth, Marriage & Death) at no cost to the resident.
\n\u2022 Replacement of all recorded documents pertaining to real property, such as Deeds, Deeds of Trust, Mortgages, UCCs, etc.<\/p>\n
Assessor<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Can provide property owners with a printout containing details about any property, APN, legal description, last recorded document and various property characteristics like sq. ft., bedroom, bath count etc.
\n\u2022 Information on the process for calamity reduction in property taxes.
\n\u2022 Base year transfer information under Prop. 19. Elections \u2022 Can provide access to voting and replacement ballots for the November 2022 election.<\/p>\n
Library<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Community Health Advocates can provide additional assistance with access to resources.
\n\u2022 Information about library services.<\/p>\n
Planning and Building<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Information regarding the Re-Build process, including the necessary \u00a0resources, forms, and contact information for the various review agencies.<\/p>\n
District Attorney<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Information about fraud and ways to protect against it.<\/p>\n
Treasurer \u2013 Tax Collector<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Information regarding secured and unsecured property tax bills. Printing 2022-23 tax bill.<\/p>\n
Environmental Management<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Information about recovery process and environmental impacts Health & Human Services Agency.
\n\u2022 Self-Sufficiency services enrollment and replacement Department of Insurance (CDI).
\n\u2022 Provides assistance on handling delays, additional living expenses, under insurance disputes, etc.<\/p>\n
Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Can respond to questions and provide the forms needed to assist individuals in replacing DMV documents, such as drivers\u2019 licenses, identification cards, vehicle registration certificates and certificates of title California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) Formerly.<\/p>\n
Board of Equalization (BOE)<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Provides disaster relief to taxpayers, fee payers, and business owners who live in or own businesses in counties where a state of emergency exists. Survivors may be eligible to receive free replacement copies of tax records and may be eligible to receive a one-month extension on filing their tax returns.<\/p>\n
CalOES<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Pertinent information from the State\u2019s Office of Emergency Services Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD).
\n\u2022 Can assist with manufactured housing questions including repairs, installations and\/or registration and titling American Red Cross.
\n\u2022 Provide compassionate care to those impacted California Southern Baptist Disaster Response.
\n\u2022 Critical Incident stress management, personal property recovery.<\/p>\n
