Officers were at the scene investigating a crash involving a DUI suspect and a motorcycle that had two people on it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Placerville police say, at some point that evening, another vehicle crashed into one of their patrol cars.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>An officer was inside the patrol car, police say, but was not hurt.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>That driver who struck the patrol car was soon arrested on suspicion of DUI. The driver\u2019s name has not been released.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sacramento.cbslocal.com\/2022\/04\/25\/motorcycle-passenger-killed-in-highway-50-crash-involving-suspected-drunk-driver-in-placerville\/\">The original crash<\/a>\u00a0that officers were investigating left 60-year-old Pollock Pines resident Lori Hooper dead.
