(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) June 18, 2022 \u2014 A trespassing, Fence-climbing man on ranchlands in the Shingle Springs area has been reported to the Sheriff.<\/p>\n
Owner reported, “At 7:30 this morning I found this man in my LOCKED (gates are padlocked) pasture that contains my livestock, wandering around.”<\/p>\n
When confronted he claimed to be working for the utility company “Source Power Services.” Source Power Services is an Utility Subcontractor for utility companies including PG&E. He did not have Personal I.D. badge nor was his truck marked with any company I.D.<\/p>\n
The ranch gates were pattlelocked and he admitted Climbing the fence for access. The property is posted with “No Trespassing” signs and with signs indicating that a security camera is in use.<\/p>\n
The man said “PGE owns this property and I can go wherever I want.” He refused to leave until the property owner started screaming at him and said she was calling the Sheriff. He gave her false information including a number for his supervisor, that belongs to a young lady in Fresno.<\/p>\n
After reporting a PG&E Supervisor arrived and said, “this person absolutely WAS NOT AUTHORIZED to be working in this area or at my property.”<\/p>\n
The PG&E supervisor came with the field foreman from Source Power and said “We’ve never seen him before, he isn’t one of our crew. We don’t have anyone working this sector and NOTHING on the schedule for your address.”<\/p>\n
Another area rancher wrote, “Watch out there have been major human predation on livestock this yr, we lost 3 lambs in 4 months to humans.”<\/p>\n
Another local wrote, “I saw him 20 minutes later in the pasture across the way where there are about six 2-yr-old Bulls…”<\/p>\n
