Landslide for Ray Nutting

Incumbent Supervisor Ray Nutting ran out of champagne for all of his supporters at his election party Tuesday night before he gave a toast to his campaign before about 40 people, including Louis Mansour and Sheriff John D'Agostini in the back room of Crepe Town in Burke Junction in Cameron Park. The party was jointly held with judicial candidate Steven Valentine.Nutting, who was ahead of opponent George Turnboo by 36 percentage points, said that he was "proud to live in a country where we can vote for who we want, and I appreciated the support," he said, "the support of our campaign and El Dorado County."
After the speech, he said that he credited his campaign to his success so far.
