31st Season for Change Gala, The Center for Violence-Free Relationships event hosted by Blue Shield
Placerville, CA - Bring out your finest cocktail attire for an evening of fun, food and philanthropy. The Center for Violence-Free Relationships is proud to announce its 31st annual Season for Change Gala on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Blue Shield of California in El Dorado Hills. This event is the major fundraiser for The Center and features entertainment, wine and beer garden, and catered dinner followed by a program and live auction.
Blue Shield of California will host the 31st annual Season for Change Gala at their El Dorado Hills location. Sponsors include Sierra Pacific Mortgage, Hanson McClain, Blue Shield of California and the El Dorado Savings Bank of Placerville.
This year’s event will feature some exciting live auction items such as a family style dinner with the Chief and firefighters from Station 87 in El Dorado Hills, five nights in a luxury ocean front condo in Cabo San Lucas, a relaxing fall retreat in Squaw Valley and much more! Funds raised from the evening provide services for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence and will help support The Center’s safe house program for women and children escaping violent homes.
Individual tickets are $75 per person and $125 for two tickets. The Center is recognized at the local, state and national level for its innovative, groundbreaking programs, and its ability to provide essential services to families in need. As one of the only agencies of its kind that tracks, measures, verifies and reports the actual impact each service and program is having towards stopping the cycle of violence, The Center is empowering individuals to live a life free from abuse and is dedicated to building healthy relationships, families and communities free from sexual assault and domestic violence through education, advocacy and services in western El Dorado County.
