El Dorado County District 1 School Board Member Sought
On July 9, El Dorado County Board of Education Member Matt Boyer submitted his letter of resignation, after representing District 1 for over a decade. The El Dorado County Board of Education will consider making an appointment to fill this vacancy at a special meeting scheduled for July 31, 2014, 11:30 am, at the administration offices of the El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE), 6767 Green Valley Road.
All interested parties are encouraged to review the minimum qualifications and electronically submit a Candidate Information Sheet, available on the Spotlight page at www.edcoe.org, which includes the map of District 1. The information provided will be made available to the board for their consideration.
