El Dorado Hills Seniors Needs Volunteer kitchen help
The El Dorado County Senior Nutrition Program is currently seeking dedicated kitchen volunteers to assist with set up, serving, and clean up from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the El Dorado Hills “Moni Gilmore” Senior Center located at 990 Lassen Lane, El Dorado Hills.
Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday.
The Senior Nutrition Program is a service of the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency.

Are You 50 Yet? Join us anytime! This beautiful facility is owned and maintained by El Dorado County, who collaborates with the CSD to provide recreational programming and activities for adults age 50 and up. This unique partnership serves seniors throughout the county.
Need A Ride? Call Dial-A-Ride to make arrangements for transportation to the Senior Center and personal appointments. Sac-Med Transport is also available for doctor appointments in Sacremento on Tuesday and Thursdays. Both services are available at (530) 642-3696

New to the area? Never been to our Senior Center? Age 50 and up? Join us for an intorductory "talk and tour." We offer great programs, classes, events, lunches and socialization opportunities. Join us for refreshments and see what we have to offer. We think there's something for everyone! No membership fee! Reservations are a must - please call by Monday that week. Visit the Senior Center Library/Computer
The The Senior Center has MANY books available. There is no formal check out system, just come find books you like and take them! We also have a limited number of movies (yes, some are VCR!). If you have books and movies to donate– let us know. The library also has a computer with a large screen for Seniors to use at their convenience. All you have to do is ask staff for the password and the world of computing opens up. Wi-fi is available throughout the Center.

Senior Nutrition Lunch
We offer excellent meals for a reasonable donation of only $3 for seniors age 60 and over, and $5 for those under 60. Lunch is served Monday through Friday at 12noon in the Garden Cafe at the Senior Center. Closed on major holidays. Call (916) 358-3562 for menu.
Senior Day Care Program
The County's Senior Day Care program is housed at the Placerville Senior Center. For those who need care and supervision during the day, this program provides families with peace of mind and the ability to take a break from their care-giving responsibilities. Members are kept busy with crafts, sports, exercise, meals, entertainment, music and lots of personal attention. Transportation from El Dorado Hills is available. Senior Classes & Activities
El Dorado Hills Senior Center offers several classes with online registration and other classes and activities that just need you to call the Senior Center to hold a spot and show up! Activities include drawing, watercolor, line dance, digital photography, cooking, wreath making, chair exercise, and so many more! Also, guest speakers speak on senior related topics, including: scam alerts, current events, legal matters, health & wellness, etc.
