Little Known About EDSO Officer Involved Accident
The deputy, in a 2009 Crown Victoria, was turning left from southbound Latrobe Road onto eastbound Highway 50 at about 11:15 p.m. when a silver 2007 Nissan Altima traveling northbound on Latrobe entered the intersection and collided with the deputy’s vehicle, CHP Officer David Ridge said.
The driver of the Altima was identified as Mary Quilty, 29, of Placerville, Ridge said. She had complaints of pain.
KCRA reported: An El Dorado County sheriff's deputy was injured in a vehicle crash near Highway 50, a spokesman for the department said Saturday.
The deputy was hit at about 11:20 p.m. Friday at the intersection of El Dorado Hills Boulevard and the eastbound Highway 50 onramp, investigators said.
Multiple people, including the officer, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department.
CBS13 added: An El Dorado Sheriff’s Office deputy is in the hospital following a car crash late Friday night.
... Both the deputy and occupants of the other vehicle were transported from the scene. The sheriff’s office notes that no one is suffering from life-threatening injuries.
The deputy is still in the hospital in stable condition, according to a Saturday afternoon release from the sheriff’s office....

On July 04, 2014 at 11:18pm an El Dorado County Sheriff’s patrol vehicle with one EDSO Deputy aboard was involved in a traffic collision with with another vehicle in El Doardo Hills at the intersection of El Dorado Hills Boulevard and US Highway 50.
Multiple patients were evacuated by ground ambulance, none with life threatening injuries. The Deputy Sheriff involved remains hospitalized at this hour in stable condition.
The California Highway Patrol is the conducting the traffic accident investigation.
