Action Alert! County Wastes More taxpayers Money on Nutting Witch Hunt
Vern Pierson & Joe Harn, El Dorado County’s corrupt District Attorney & Auditor-Controller, just won’t stop! In a closed session meeting on Tuesday morning, Pierson and Harn, with the help of County Counsel Ed Knapp, are going to try and persuade the Board of Supervisors to remove Ray Nutting from office over the misdemeanor convictions for accepting help with his bail from two County employees and a longtime friend who does business with the County. Misdemeanors that only happened after Pierson arrested Ray on phony charges in the first place!
Please make every effort to CALL and e-mail each county supervisor’s office and urge them to stop wasting our tax dollars on Pierson & Harn’s political vendetta. If we don’t clean up our county government…then who will?
Most legislators actually do pay attention to communications from the people who live in the districts they represent. Persistent advocacy sometimes can pay off for you, your family, and our community. In general, don’t use email unless you know for sure that the legislator pays just as much attention to email as to phone calls. Some do. Some don’t.
I urge you to contact your Supervisor today and ask them to vote "NO" on spending more taxpayers money on this political witch hunt that takes away the voter's choice. Please pass this on to your friends and neighbors.
EL DORADO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
• District 1 - Supervisor Ron "Mik" Mikulaco
phone: (530) 621-5650
• District 2 - Supervisor Ray Nutting
phone: (530) 621-5651
• District 3 – Brian K. Veerkamp
phone: (530) 621-5652
• District 4 - Supervisor Ron Briggs
phone: (530) 621-6513
• District 5 - Supervisor Norma Santiago
phone: (530) 621-6577
When you get the Supervisor's office, tell whoever answers the phone that you’re a constituent. Then ask to talk to that person. Be willing to hold a while or even call back later to get him or her. You may never get exactly the right staff person, but often you will, and you’ll certainly get somebody. When you get the staffer on the phone, introduce yourself. Give them your address so they know you live in the legislator’s district. Ask for his or her name, then write it down and save it. This is the beginning of government accountability.

Then say directly that you are calling to ask the Supervisor to vote no on action that takes away the voter's choice. The voter elected the Supervisors, and they can recall them if they choose. It is, and should be, the voter's decision, not taxpayer funded lawyers.
