The 16th annual El Dorado Town Bazaar, "Trash to Treasures" is happening in the historical township of El Dorado on Sunday, May 27 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.Present day seekers can enjoy a fun day of treasure hunting at vendors lining Main Street. Shoppers can check out antiques, collectibles and flea market items.
Veteran shoppers recommend an early start to get the best bargains.
To add to the festivities the popular band the Buckboard Bunch is playing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hartwick House, 6237 Main St. in El Dorado.
Shoppers will also have a chance to ride the El Dorado Western Railroad from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a fun ride originating at the "train station" next to the El Dorado Community Center in El Dorado. Take Oriental Road and keep left at the Y. Tickets are $5 for 9 and over and $3 for 3 to 8 year olds.
