Knights of Columbus of Holy Trinity Collect Easter Hams for the Food Bank
The Knights of Columbus at Holy Trinity Church in El Dorado Hills have graciously hosted an Easter Ham Food Drive to benefit the Food Bank. Holy Trinity’s Knights of Columbus collected almost 1,300 pounds of hams and more than $400 in financial donations to support the Food Bank. Hopefully their commitment to the community may inspire others to join in the fight to end local hunger.
Mike Sproull Food Bank Founder says “Knights of Columbus has proven to be a steward for the Food Bank and are committed to our at-risk population.”
Carey Fong Food Bank Communications and Development Director says “The Food Bank is proud of its partnership with Holy Trinity’s Knights of Columbus. They are dedicated to our community and have organized and implemented several successful food drives to benefit the Food Bank, we are grateful for their generosity and continued partnership.”
Art Aguilar of the Knights of Columbus says, “The success of this food drive could not have been possible without the efforts of many people especially Pat Shields-Maher of the Holy Trinity’s Human Concerns ministry and, of course, the generosity of the Parishioners. The Knights of Columbus are truly proud to be committed to continue efforts with the Food Bank to help in this extremely important issue of local hunger.
