Gold Country Artists Gallery Gives Back by fighting Hunger with Food Bank
CAMERON PARK, CA –The Food Bank of El Dorado County relies on its community donors to ensure its continued annual operations. Community sponsors like Gold Country Artists Gallery allow the Food Bank to carry out its mission of “Preventing Hunger – Providing Hope” throughout El Dorado County. Gold Country Artists Gallery Board of Directors selected the Food Bank of El Dorado County as this year’s community charity recipient. year’s community charity recipient. Each year, Gold Country Artists Gallery saves a percentage of its annual proceeds received from the 3rd Saturday Art Walk, held on Main Street in Placerville, to donate to a charity in the community. This year, Gold Country Artists Gallery presented a check for more than $1,350 to the Food Bank of El Dorado County. Hopefully the Gallery’s commitment to the community may inspire other businesses and organizations to join in the fight to end local hunger.
