Spring recipes for farmers market produce

Farmers markets around the region begin to bustle with shoppers looking for fresh bounty, from fava beans and green garlic to ripe strawberries and asparagus. Sacramento's just about in the center of it all, surrounded by rich soils and farms that grow some of the best produce you'll find anywhere.
"Being from Europe, it's not very different," said Oliver Ridgeway, a native of England and executive chef at Grange Restaurant & Bar. "We're getting the bounty of food and cuisine that you'd (see) in northern Italy with the production of vegetables and the growing."
