EDDOG Monthly Membership Meeting
EDDOG Board Meetings are open to the public. We would love to have you join us, become a volunteer, and help us plan EDDOG activities and fundraising events.
We meet at 7:00 pm, in the classroom next to the gym, at Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive, Cameron Park, on the first Wednesday of every month.
We are seeking new membership from the vast pool of wonderful dog owners at Hacienda Dog Park to help us continue to provide amenities for 'our' park. We have open positions on our Board.
Do you have a special talent that you can share? Do you have accounting skills, fundraising experience, or do you like planning events or writing 'thank you' notes?
The next meeting is TODAY, February 5th. This month we are meeting in the main community building.
Reds, Whites and Jewels
Saturday, February 1st, was a sunny day. It was cold outside but the warmth and camaraderie of dog lovers exchanging stories about their companions and making new friendships was palpable. We had a ball at the annual Reds, Whites and Jewels event that we partner with Cameron Park Community Services District (CPCSD) every year!
We raised 'almost' enough money to purchase a doggie waste bag dispenser ...... We served hot coffee with Kahlua, Mimosas and offered a variety of local wines for tasting along with delectable cupcakes, biscotti and more.
Special thanks go to Eden Halbert and Holly Cox for their very generous wine donations for the event and to Jean Carey for bringing the lovely camellias that made our booth 'bloom'. Thank you to Starbucks, Coach Lane, Cameron Park, for their ongoing support of our events. Thank you to Snowline Thrift Shop, Burke Junction, for their gift of baskets.
Thank you, as always, to our volunteers and Board members for their generosity of time taken to serving the beverages and talking to visitors about our Memorial Brick Program and all things EDDOG! To volunteers Casey Aisenman, Brad Brooke, Jeannie Charter, Dawn LeClair, Alan Clarke and EDDOG Board Members and VIPs Scott Gross, Marie Halverson, Sue Hawkes, Holly Morrison, Gerald Lillpop, Judy Merton, thank you so much.
Thank you, as always, to CPCSD for their partnership in this endeavor.
And thank YOU for your kind donations and participation in this fun event!
The next event
