The El Dorado Builders’ Exchange announces Two new Board Members
The El Dorado Builders’ Exchange, whose mission is to promote building with integrity and professional, licensed, insured contractors and industry associates, recently added two new members to its board of directors — Dan Miser, ADM-General Construction and Grant Gluck, Energy Stars Construction.
Both Miser and Gluck bring their construction expertise to the table, along with a desire to enhance the construction industry’s position in the marketplace while delivering quality construction to clients.
In June 2003 Miser started ADM Handyman which became ADM-General Construction upon the acquisition of his contractor’s license in March 2006. He always strives to deliver customer satisfaction and professionalism in his work.
“I am interested in bringing a fresh perspective to the organization, while upholding its age-old values and believe in promoting quality construction in El Dorado County and beyond. There is value in belonging to the Builders’ Exchange, where members, consumers and the community-at-large benefit,” said Miser.
At age 15 Gluck began working in construction with his father, starting with a remodel of their family home and continuing to work in the construction industry for several years.
His wife urged him to get his contractor’s license, start a company and focus on his passion — energy.
Gluck’s grandfather was an electrical engineer, so his fascination with energy was ramped up, motivating him to work on reducing energy consumption.
“I am pleased to be on the El Dorado Builders’ Exchange board of directors. I believe it will allow the opportunity to expand my knowledge base and contribute my ideas and ‘energy’ to the community and my peers. Contributing to the success of the Builder’s Exchange is a great honor,” said Gluck.
Jerry Homme, board president, said, “We are delighted to have two new board members who will round out an already great and motivated board. The El Dorado Builders’ Exchange is working on designing and implementing upgraded programs and services for its members and the public.”
