Bye, Bye Miss American Pie - Opinion
The sun was just rising over this quiet little village in the hills; everyone was coming to life, the birds, humans and horses. No one would suspect this quiet little village would be at the center of a country fighting for its existence. The country had for years been tangled in wars, now the inner war, pushed and supported by philosophical elitists had become more noticeable.
These elitists were sly, cunning and self-serving. Their goal was to take the country at large by whatever means necessary. While the village people were caring for their families, and their livestock, the elitists brought in cameras to watch the people in the name of fighting terrorism, tracked people with their cell phones, spied on all calls and communication in the spirit of fighting terrorism. They pushed to have gun control so they could decide how people should
live, because they knew what was good for the people. As far as they were concerned, the people were sheep and they needed guidance.
The elitists knew one day, a day of reckoning was coming. To be prepared for the revolt they purchased military hardware in the name of Homeland Security. Police departments were given armored personnel carriers painted black with machine gun turrets. They wanted drone aircraft to patrol over the country, what they would be looking for became apparent as time went by.
People had become used to this plane spying on their privacy. Secretly these aircraft were armed with weapons in preparation for “The Day.”
Now, The Day was at hand for that little village as well as the entire country. The elitists had finally taken one step too far as they had long planned. A serious revolt would be underway by the end of the day. The old timers had enough of the fight left in them to push a revolt to return to the “Old Ways.” The Old Ways were the gift of freedom, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
All of the military hardware purchased in the name of Homeland Security and police protection would finally be put to the use intended. That use was to put down a rebellion after orders from the national leader to enforce martial law on the people. The people had finally realized how they had been skillfully maneuvered into a government-controlled state.
That government-controlled state had secured government control of everything, among which was healthcare, gun control and the right to own property. If the government didn’t own it they controlled it. People had just become collateral damage. There were the elitists and there were the others. The others would serve the state from birth to death without question.
By high noon the rebellion was in high gear across the country. By quitting time, it was all over.
The country that was created with man’s wish for freedom now was crushed under the iron boot. The quiet little village was helpless in the face of the government takeover. All they could sing was, “Bye, Bye Miss American Pie.” You know the rest of the song.
By now you should realize this is not a village in Afghanistan. It’s me, you, your children, and your neighbors in this story. You are probably saying this is absurd, it will never happen; I live in America, land of the free and home of the brave. We have hospitals and graveyards of these brave men and women that have fought for those freedoms in wars gone by.
Now ask yourself, why does Homeland Security need to purchase 2,700 tanks? Why are Social Security and other federal agencies purchasing millions of bullets? If they take away our guns, which is the unwritten bottom line, do they need tanks, bullets and drone aircraft? I believe it is written that military hardware cannot be used in this country. Think I’m wrong again. If you saw the news footage about a month ago on the swat team that arrested a couple for breaking into a Credit Union, I believe it was in Sacramento, you would have seen an armored personnel carrier with a machine gun turret on its top. I saw one of these carriers a month ago on China Garden Road.
Ask yourself why and then find out why. More importantly, let us do what needs to be done; take our country back with recall, referendum and initiative.
