Old Hangtown Beer Works Brewers’ Dinner on Sunday
The Foothills in general, and El Dorado County specifically, have a rich brewing history going all the way back to the Gold Rush Days, and local brewers are keeping the passion for suds alive.
You will be in the fine company of the Gold Hill Brewery, Mraz Brewing of El Dorado Hills and Old Hangtown Beer Works. Jason Spencer, owner of the Cellar, together with Chef Jesse, have put together another stellar and over-the-top multi-course meal with beer pairings. After a Cream Ale Greeting Beer (Mraz), feast on Anchovies Two Ways; House made Spaetzel with White Cheddar Cream Sauce with Bacon and Brussel Sprouts; Braised Pork in Apricot Broth with Carmelized Shallots and Crispy Leeks; and Pumpkin Cheesecake with Spiked Whip Cream.
Offerings from Old Hangtown Beer Works will include the Zeissweiss Hefeweiss Bier and the Smokey Canyon Rauch (smoke) Bier.
All of this is offered at a great price of $45 ($30 for Designated Drivers).
For Reservations, contact the Cellar at 530.621.1003.
