  • Why are you running for this office?
Warren "Curt" Stracener: I am running to be retained as Superior Court judge so that I can continue to impact the lives of at-risk children and families in crises in a positive and productive manner. Currently, I serve as a juvenile and dependency court judge in El Dorado County. My 11 years experience as a high school teacher, and education and training, have made me particularly senstive to the issues that impact our youth and their families. My 20-plus years as a litigating attorney, judge pro tem in small claims court, and administrative hearing officer have provided me with the legal expertise to manage a demanding court calendar while addressing difficult legal issues in an efficient and timely manner. Accordingly, I desire to continue to serve my community as a Superior Court judge.

Before voting, visit www.warrenstracenerforjudge.com and educate yourself why this guy is the WRONG choice for El Dorado County.

I've known Judge Warren Stracener for over 20 years, and worked with him during much of that time. He has high expertise in labor and employment law, and has practiced law before state and federal courts, including appellate courts, and state and federal administrative agencies. As a result, he has broad and varied legal experience, he has managed complex caseloads and he has organized and directed the work of other attorneys. Judge Stracener has a demonstrated commitment to public service, which continues with his work on the bench. As a former deputy county counsel representing the Sutter County welfare department in juvenile dependency matters, I also appreciate that Judge Stracener brings the right judicial attitude for these emotional, difficult cases. Yes, check out the facts. This election is about qualifications. Keep Judge Stracener on the bench. http://www.sacbee.com/2012/05/10/4479342/bogert-maguire-stracener-for-judge.html
