Why are you running for this office?
Warren "Curt" Stracener: I am running to be retained as
Superior Court judge so that I can continue to impact the lives of at-risk
children and families in crises in a positive and productive manner. Currently,
I serve as a juvenile and dependency court judge in El Dorado County. My 11
years experience as a high school teacher, and education and training, have made
me particularly senstive to the issues that impact our youth and their families.
My 20-plus years as a litigating attorney, judge pro tem in small claims court,
and administrative hearing officer have provided me with the legal expertise to
manage a demanding court calendar while addressing difficult legal issues in an
efficient and timely manner. Accordingly, I desire to continue to serve my
community as a Superior Court judge.
