Thrift stores are becoming more and more popular with consumers and St. Francis Thrift Store in Shingle Springs is reaping the benefits.
David Macri, one of the partners of the second-hand store, said business has been steady.
“We have regular customers that come in each week,” he said. “Business has been good.”
The 5,000 square foot building of gently used household items, tools, furniture and clothing.
The partners purchase some of their wares at auctions, storage lockers and also take donations.
“We have a lot of high-end donations,” Macri said.
