Sheriff’s Office continue support for 'It Can Wait' texting and driving campaign
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office announced its continued support for the “Texting & Driving … It can wait” campaign.
The county Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with AT&T, has partnered to get community awareness and participation to deter texting while driving. On Sept. 19, all California drivers, employers, friends and family members are encouraged to take the pledge to not text and drive.
Sheriff John D’Agostini took the pledge not to text and drive stating, “All of us in law enforcement have seen the terrible impact texting and driving has had on so many. The physical and mental injuries instilled on those involved are senseless and avoidable. Let’s all do our part and stop texting while driving.”
