El Dorado County judge sentences multiple DUI offender to 9 years in prison
PLACERVILLE, CA - An El Dorado County man was sentenced on Sept. 6 to nine years state prison after being convicted of driving under the influence.
Judge Daniel Proud sentenced Ralph Eugene Dumont, 55, of Cameron Park to state prison following a trial in which the jury convicted Dumont of driving under the influence stemming from an incident Aug. 1, 2012.
During that incident, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call which was disconnected from Dumont’s home in Cameron Park. While responding toward the location, two deputies reportedly observed Dumont driving his vehicle and turning into his driveway.
