Wildland Fire - Evacuations at Patterson Drive and Lake Hills Mobile Home Park (Diamond Springs)
Update @ 6:25pm:
- Evacuation orders have been lifted residence are permitted to return to their homes.
- Fire is 100% contained at contained at 116 acres
- Some road closures continue in the area.
- Patterson Historic Homestead of Larry Patterson is only home destroyed.
Update @ 4:07: via CalFire - fire is now 100 acres & 40% contained. Also working to re-open mobile home park.
Update @ 3:54: Prepairing to open Patterson Drive from Pleasant Valley road (Tower Mart) to the mobile home park only.
Update @ 3:31: Several resources have been released by Union IC from the
#UnionFire in Diamond Springs as fierfighters gain upper hand. 40AC with 1 home and multiple outbuildings destroyed.

#UnionFire no longer threatening structures near Diamond Springs.

Update @ 3:15: Some evacuated students at Herbert Green, others at Indian Creek school. 1 home destroyed, several outbuildings.

A wildland fire with structures involved has occurred in the area of Koki Ln. and Patterson Dr. in Diamond Springs near Union Mine High School.
You are advised to avoid the area, emergency personnel are on scene.
Students from Charles Brown School will be taken to Herbert Green School.
Parents are asked to respond to Herbert Green School, at 3781 Forni Road.
Avoid the area until further notice
