Beyonce, the tiny puppy who fit into a spoon at birth, will not be adopted out anytime soon. She will, instead, stay at the Grace Foundation, as an ambassador for rescue dogs everywhere.
Beyonce, a female dauhshund mix born March 8 to a rescue dog that was found abandoned, weighed just 1 ounce at birth. Her story captured national attention.
She was born at the Grace Foundation of Northern California, an El Dorado Hills organization that rehabilitates abused and neglected animals.

At three weeks old, Beyonce was about the size of an iPhone.
The Grace Foundation said that since her story went nation-wide, the organization has received more than 500 phone calls and e-mails inquiring about adopting the tiny pup.
However, the foundation said in a press release that she will not be going up for adoption at this time. She will, instead, stay at the Grace Foundation, as an ambassador for rescue dogs everywhere.
