

Place your bet and don your favorite party hat for El Dorado Hills Community Vision Coalition’s Kentucky Derby fun-raiser to improve and enhance the lives of young people. Festivities will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, at the Mercedes-Benz of El Dorado Hills.
Delicious appetizers, games, live music by “Rhythm Vandals” and a live and silent auction will all be a part of this delightful evening. Local celebrity Jennifer Whitney will emcee the event.
Tickets are on sale now for $50 per person and sponsorship opportunities are also available at a variety of levels including American Grand National, Triple Crown, Preakness, Belmont and Jim Dandy. Proceeds benefit El Dorado Hills Community Vision Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation whose mission is to increase and support programs and opportunities for youth that enable them to grow up safe, healthy and drug-free.
Advocating on behalf of youth, the Vision Coalition has enjoyed tremendous success by collaborating with all sectors of the community to promote healthy lifestyle choices. Some of the programs include providing counselors in schools, parent education programs, peer mentoring programs such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, LINK Crew, Safe School Ambassadors, Point Break, Friday Night Live, Club Live, WEB Program, TEACH Anti-bullying, Sober Grad Night, Youth Development and Leadership training.
