Once again the Mt. Democrat has snubbed the Georgetown Divide in its issue of Women in Business for El Dorado County and Folsom. In reading that section twice, I did not see one mention of a business woman on the Divide, and there are many. At the risk of missing many of them, I will mention a few for you: Patti Smith Real Estate, Georgetown, Rosie Borba, Cool Florist, Terri Potter, Cher’s Hair, Cool and many, many more. Also, co-owners, Lorrie Attleberger, American River Grill & Pizza, Cool and Janice Hoyt, Divide Supply, Greenwood.
Actually, in the Jan. 28 issue I did not see one miniscule article about anything on the Divide. What does it take to get your attention? Why is it that your reporters don’t seem to know how to find their way over here?
And the bigger question is why do I keep a subscription?
