Marijuana grow

A WARRANT WAS served at 7 a.m. at Hangtown Medical, 3081 Newtown Road and a marijuana growing operation was discovered within the business and in unit 3079 in the same building.

A second warrant was simultaneously served at 11563 Sutters Mill Circle in Gold River. Michael Andrew Kane, 45, was arrested at the residence on suspicion of cultivating marijuana and possession of marijuana for sale. He is being held at the El Dorado County Jail on $17,500 bail.
