25% Increase in Home Insurance Rates due to Fire Ratings called ISOs

The first 2013 meeting of the Nashville-Sandridge Fire Safe Council is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 23.

Local insurance broker Robert Lenoil will speak about upcoming home insurance rates due to take affect around March 1. For some, a 25 percent increase is in store. Lenoil will discuss ISO residential ratings and touch on the ISO Fire District ratings and what they are,how they are derived and what we can do about it.

In addition, Grant 187 has finally arrived at the “Boots on the Ground ” level. During the next month drivers will experience single lane traffic along portions of Sandridge Rd from Highway 49 to Bucks Bar. Work has begun at Willow Glenn and Sandridge on the newly annexed east end of Sandridge Road.

Join the celebration of this momentous event (for those of us grinding away with the paperwork). The council is so excited to see this project opening a clear route for emergency vehicles to get in and for residents to evacuate.
