Rockslide closes U.S. 50 near near Kyburz; road is open again

The slide happened near 39 Mile Stone Drive. Reopened in less than two hours.
A rockslide blocked both directions of U.S. 50 near South Lake Tahoe Feb 6th.
It closed near Kyburz about 27 miles east of Placerville about 9:24 a.m. and reopened about 11 a.m., the California Department of Transportation reported.
According to initial California Highway Patrol reports, the slide happened near 39 Mile Stone Drive.
