El Dorado County wages actually dropped by 0.58 percent, from $41,513 to $41,273 in 2010.
Wage growth in the four-county Sacramento region was fairly slow in a single year.

On Numbers analyzed wage data cross the country from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis between 2009 and 2010, the latest one-year period for which official figures are available.
Sacramento County saw growth of only 1.69 percent in the year period. The average wage was $51,967 in 2009 and $52,847 in 2010.
Yolo County wages grew only 0.73 percent, from $46,757 in 2009 to $47,098 in 2010.
