Sheriff's Office Promotional Ceremony

The beginning of January started a new era for Sheriff John D’Agostini. With numerous retirements, Sheriff D’Agostini had many personnel decisions to make. The Sheriff started with promoting Lieutenant Marc Adams, and Lieutenant Randy Peshon to the rank of Sheriff’s Captain. In doing so the Sheriff filled two vacant Division Commander positions. Within the following three months numerous other vacant positions were filled with the promotion of Sergeants Tom Hoagland, Tim Becker, Jackie Noren, and Pete Van Arnum to the rank of Lieutenant. Subsequently Deputies Daniel Bears, Jim Applegate, and Dan Johnson were promoted to the rank of Sheriff’s Sergeant.

The above individuals will be honored and sworn in during a Sheriff’s Office Promotional Ceremony at 3 PM on Saturday, March 31 at the American Legion Hall, 4561 Greenstone Rd, Placerville.
