New Provisional Appointment to the Camino Union School District Board of Trustees

At the special meeting of the Board of Trustees Jan. 8 a provisional appointment was made to fill the current board member vacancy. Renée Day has been appointed to the Camino Union School District Board of Trustees.

Unless a petition calling for a special election to fill the vacancy, containing a sufficient number of signatures, is filed in the Office of the County Superintendent of Schools, 6767 Green Valley Rd., Placerville 95667, the provisional appointment of Renée Day shall become an effective appointment, and she shall serve until the next regularly scheduled election for governing board members. The deadline for filing the petition calling for a special election is not later than March 16.
