Christmas is not just about a father, a mother, and one baby. It about how that one person can effect the lives of others around him. How his efforts served to help others. How his sacrifices served to help all mankind. Christmas is about how each one of us can help to make better the lives of those others around us.
Let us not forget that for many people, Christmas is a time of sorrow. They don't have the extra money to buy presents for their children, family, and friends. Many are saddened at Christmastime when they think of their loved ones who will not be able to come home for various reasons. Turkey dinners may be only a wish and not a reality for some.
Extend your family. Set an extra place at Christmas dinner.
Each year, there are many people without families who spend the holiday alone. If you know someone like that, extend an invitation to join you at your table. Cooking for an extra person won’t take much more effort, but it will make all the difference to your guest.
The Christmas season is a time to celebrate the priceless gift of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A Babe, born in Bethlehem. His birth, which we commemorate during this season, is more than the symbol of a holiday.
The true meaning of Christmas is to follow God‘s example. He allowed his son to come to earth to be born in a manager and that was the ultimate gift, so we should follow his example and give gifts to others.
Christmas is about Family. Christmas is about Service. Christmas is about Love.
