

Tony was born to Juliette and Gust Rores in Buffalo, N.Y. The youngest of five siblings, his favorite memories were beside the family at their candy store. He later moved to Arizona to attend college and serve in the Air Force. While there, he met his wife Nancy and married. He began a 40 year career in the food industry which led him to California.
Tony and Nancy adopted their only child, Susan, settling down in the coastal town of Santa Cruz, Calif. In 2008, Tony was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. He succumbed to a stroke on Dec. 14, 2012, ending his suffering. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Salluce, son-in-law, John Salluce and grandchildren, Kellen and Marina Salluce, all of Shingle Springs; his sister, Connie of Half Moon Bay; and his sister-in-law, Esther and niece Mary Ann.
