El Dorado Co. to consider Wilson Estates development

The proposed Wilson Estates project, which calls for carving up 28 acres into 49 home sites in El Dorado Hills, goes before the El Dorado County Planning Commission on Thursday, nearly a year after being postponed to consider possible changes
The project was originally slated to be heard last January, but was delayed to address changes required by a state appeals court ruling regarding the county's draft Oak Wildlands Management Plan, according to planning documents.
As a result of the delay, the staff report and mitigation plans were rewritten and the development proposal was reduced from 58 lots to 49 parcels.
In addition, a new layout was designed in response to neighbor concerns.
