Golden 1 donates $2,500 to Food Bank of El Dorado County

During November, Golden 1 branches throughout the region collected donated non-perishable food items and other necessities, such as diapers and baby formula, for families in need in the Sacramento Region.

In addition to the food drive — an important holiday tradition at Golden 1 — the credit union donated $17,500 to food banks in the region to help families who rely on their services throughout the year.

Golden 1 donated $5,000 each to River City Food Bank and Sacramento Food Bank, and donated $2,500 each to Placer Food Bank, Food Bank of El Dorado County, and Yolo County Food Bank.
