800-member tribe has gain approval for gaming on land off its own rancheria
After trying for a decade, the Enterprise Rancheria of Maidu Indians now has land in Yuba County to build a casino.
On Friday, the tribe reported that the Assistant Secretary Indian Affairs has made a final decision to put 40 acres of land in trust for the tribe’s planned casino. The decision will be entered into the federal register on Monday.
