Harriet was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Fresno and last lived in Turlock, where she had a stroke and came to live in a loving care house in El Dorado Hills, where she quietly passed away on Nov. 5. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bud. She is survived by her brother, Don Bonnet; daughters, Judy Orchard and Susan Ohman; five grandchildren, Bill, Terri, Carla, Shana and Tim; nine great-grandchildren, Rob, Joe, Cheyenne, Shawnee, Emma, Lynlee, Jesse, Brody and Noah; one great-great-granddaughter, Charleigh; and nephew, John and his family.
Harriet was involved with her daughters 4-H projects, raising livestock and showing horses. After retirement she and Bud enjoyed boating, showing horses and their grandchildren. After Bud passed, Harriet spent time playing pinochle with friends and enjoyable years with her daughters and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
Harriet was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose by her husband. Donations may be made to Snowline Hospice, 6520 Pleasant Valley Road, Diamond Springs, CA 95619.
