Meeting to discuss noise at vacation rentals

El Dorado County Treasurer-Tax Collector C. L. Raffety will host an informational meeting for owners of vacation home rentals on Oct. 25 at the South Lake Tahoe library. 

The meeting will begin at 1:30 pm. The main subject on the agenda is the possibility of deputy sheriffs issuing tickets to tenants for excessive noise. Supervisor Norma Santiago and a representative from the sheriff's office are expected to attend.
