Hi.
My sister and I were planning on going hiking to see the Bassi Falls just north of Pollock Pines. A couple of things I wanted to know is mainly about the weather.
Does it snow near Pollock Pines or that area in the November time frame? I heard that the water comes from the snow run-off so I would like to know if the falls will be active, making the drive out their worth it. I was planning on going Veterans Day because that's the only time I have off.
The other question I wanted to find out is, if that isn't the best time to visit the falls, when is a good time. I know online it says end of April early May, but that's a year away and I would prefer to see them sooner than that, just because I heard they are beautiful and I don't want to wait.
Thanks for any help you guys can give me.
