Rock, Gem Show Shines at El Dorado County Fairgrounds

More than 40 dealers will feature worldwide minerals, gems, jewelry, beads and findings, fossils, petrified wood, meteorites, opals, gold, carvings, lapidary material, equipment, educational kits and supplies. Our dealers are always helpful and willing to explain what they have on display.

Visit the Special Copper Exhibit and learn about copper minerals and the importance they played in El Dorado County’s early mining years. Forty case displays will give you a chance to view a variety of gem, mineral, jewelry and lapidary collections.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Adult admission $4, children 12 and under are free. Adults can bring a gently used coat for a kid and get $1 off admission. Fairgrounds parking is $5.
