The Marshall Grange will host a voters' forum Thursday evening, October 18. Candidates will answer audience questions on the following schedule: Georgetown Divide Recreation District at 5 pm; Garden Valley & Georgetown Fire Districts at 6 pm; Black Oak Mine Unified School District at 7 pm, and finishing with Georgetown Public Utility District Board candidates at 8:00 pm. Using a modified League of Women Voters format, the candidates will answer written questions from the audience & give closing statements. Informed voting is a keystone to a democratic society. This your chance to learn about local candidates at so that you can choose based on first-hand knowledge. The Marshall Grange is located at 4940 Marshall Road in Garden Valley. Everyone is welcome and beverages and desserts will be served.
