Wine Smith Announces Friday Wine Tasting Events to Broaden Your Wine Experience

The Wine Smith announces that they will be hosting wine tastings on Friday evenings from 5:30-7:30, featuring some fantastic non-regional wines to titillate your tastebuds and broaden your wine experience.  The cost will be $5.00 for the tasting.  Our first event is this Friday September 28 featuring Thomas Fogarty Winery from the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation.  They are best known for burgundian-style pinot noir and chardonnay.  Join us for a fun wine adventure!

Keep your calendar open for our 1st annual Holiday Wine Sale October 19th.  This will be a presale event with an opportunity to taste all of our selections before you buy. Order forms will be available before the event.  Bring a friend to share your discount - the more you buy the bigger the discount!

This Saturday September 29th we will be featuring Jim Mills and friends.  Jim hails from Nashville, Tennessee and will be performing with some local friends as well.  Jim is an extremely talented singer and guitar player and we are looking forward to welcoming him back to The Wine Smith.  There will be a $5.00 cover.

Oktoberfest was a big success and brought many people to downtown Placerville.  While there, the crowd drank 40 kegs, ate lots of food, and were entertained by the many contests, demonstrations, wienerdog races, and music from Mike Blanchard and the Californios.  Thanks to all of you that participated - we hope you had a great time.
