Edith Cunningham Williamson

Edith Cunningham Williamson died peacefully on Sept. 22, 2012, at the age of 94. She worked for many years in Los Angeles as a teacher of special needs children. She was married to Richard L. Williamson for nearly 65 years, who preceded her in death five years ago on Sept. 27, 2007.

Edith is survived by her four children and their spouses, Richard and Pam Williamson, Linn and Jane Williamson, Keith and Donna Williamson and Lee Ann and Larry Winings; six grandsons; two great-granddaughters; a brother; a sister; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m., at Green Valley Cemetery, 3004 Alexandrite Drive in Rescue, Calif. A lunch will follow at the home of Linn and Jane Williamson, 4540 Panorama Drive in Placerville, Calif. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Edith’s name to the St. Mark’s Lutheran School Text Book Fund, 7869 Kingswood Drive, Citrus Heights, CA 95610.

Edith is now in heaven with our Savior, who has welcomed her with open arms.
