Greenwood Collision leaves One Dead

A two-car collision on Highway 193 in Greenwood resulted in a fatality Thursday afternoon.
The collision took place 3:43 p.m. just north of Zdolsek Place, said CHP Officer Dan Stark. A 2000 Ford F-250 pickup truck was being driven southbound on SR 193 at about 55 or 60 mph by Corrine Hegarty, 49, of Auburn, when the truck passed over the double yellow lines into the northbound lane, Stark said.
