High School College Fair in October

The El Dorado Union High School District will hold its annual Regional College Fair on Monday, Oct. 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Union Mine High School in the large gym and cafeteria, with break-out sessions in the theater at 5:30, 7 and 7:45 p.m.

Representatives from the University of California system, California State University system, California Independent Colleges, California Community Colleges, select out- of- state colleges, career technical education programs, United States military, ROTC programs, scholarship services and college admission testing services will be in attendance.

The evening will feature a fair format allowing the public to attend at its convenience and to personally interact with representatives.

The break-out sessions in the theater will include: “Fourth Congressional District Military Academy Night” from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.; ”NCAA, College Recruiting Simplified” at 7 p.m. and “UC and CSU Admissions Panel” – a discussion of the University of California and California State University systems at 7:45 p.m.

Union Mine High School is located at 6530 Koki Lane off Pleasant Valley Road in El Dorado.
